Fabric Requirements:
If you’re looking for a more scrappy Version:
For 9 patches that are Dark:
Minimum of 12 assorted 1/6 yard or 60 assorted 5 ¼”x8” rectangles
For 9 Patches that are light
Minimum of 10 assorted 1/6 yard or 60 assorted 5 ¼”x6 ½” rectangles
For Triangles -Dark
44 Assorted 3 ½” x 8” strips
For Hexagon- Medium tones
50 Assorted 7”x 7” Squares
For Half Hexagons Medium Tones
8 assorted 4”x7” rectangles
If you want to have one color background
For 9 Patches & Hexagons
4 ¼ yards
You will need the same amount of darks for the 9 patches and triangles as listed above.
The following you wont need for class but can buy if you would like:
Backing 3 ½ yard
Binding ¾ yard

Supplies needed:
Basic Sewing Kit (Machine in good working order, machine cord/pedal, straight pins, fabric scissors, paper scissors, needles, thread, notebook, pen/pencils, 18” ruler, rotary cutter, cutting mat, iron, and of course chocolate)
1 set of 2 rulers- Hexagon and triangles (Available from under the Garden Moon)
Rotary & cutting mat
Individual iron
Starch or Best Press
Small spray bottle of water
