Description of Class

A match made for sewers. Hand stitch this adorable Needle Keeper and Pincushion. We will concentrate on making the Needle keeper first, however, all stages of putting your pincushion together will be demonstrated. Keep this pair for yourself or give as a gift! Basic embroidery, hand stitching and applique will be discussed.

Fabric Requirements:
All materials are in the kit. If not getting a kit, contact teacher for Supply List. Pattern is $8.00 if not buying the kit.

Cutting Instructions:
No instructions prior to class. Both the needle keeper and the pincushion are made with wool.

Supplies needed:
The pincushion is stuffed with polyester and walnut shells.
BSK (Basic Sewing Kit: thread, extra sewing needle, straight pins, paper scissors, fabric scissors, seam ripper, rotary cutter with a fresh blade, a ruler that is sufficient for the class, cutting mat, paper & pens/pencil for taking notes, iron and your favorite treats)
