Description of Class

This is a fun twin sized quilt made from a layer cake. It’s charm comes from being on-point. If you love the look of on-point, but have been scared of it, come and we will show you how easy it really is. You can also personalize this quilt with the applique.

Fabric Needed:
Blocks - 1 layer cake Or 40 - 10" squares
Sashing and Circle - 2 yards
First Border - 1/2 yard
Outside Border - 1 1/4 yards
Fusible Web - 9" x 9" 3/4"
Ric Rac 3/4 yard

CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Strips are cut selvage to selvage
1. Letter Applique - Set 1 - 10" square aside for applique.
2. Outside Triangles - Cut 7 - 10" squares in half diagonally (A)
3. Blocks: Stack 4 - 10" squares. Cut in half (2 -5" X 10" pieces) Repeat 8 times until 32 squares are cut (B).
4.Sashing - Cut 1 - 11" strip x width of fabric (WOF) Cut into segments: 2 - 11". Cut in half diagonally for corners (C). Cut 1 - 9" x 9" square for applique. Cut 22 - 2 1/2" strips x WOF. Cut into segments: 10 - 12" (D), 66 - 9 1/2" (E), 31 - 2 1/2" (F)
5. First Border Cut 7 - 2" strips x WOF
6. Outside Border - Cut 8 - 5" strips x WOF
