Using the Me and My Sisters Double Dresden Ruler you can make this fun summery quilt. But using a more traditional fabric the quilt can take on a completely different feel. The Dresden Plate is a classic quilt pattern and this Double Dresden is sure to be too!

Fabric Requirements:
1 Jelly Roll or 40, 2½” x 42”;strips for blocks
3 yards background solid fabric for blocks
3½” white solid fabric for blocks
5/8 yard binding fabric
4 yards fabric for backing
Cutting Instructions:
From colored solid fabric cut (40) 2½” x 42” strips.
From solid for blocks
Cut (9), 12½” x 42” strips from these strips cut (25) 12½” x 12½” squares
Supplies needed:
BSK (Basic Sewing Kit: Sewing Machine in working order with power cord & foot pedal, thread, extra sewing needle, straight pins, paper scissors, fabric scissors, seam ripper, rotary cutter with a fresh blade, a ruler that is sufficient for the class, cutting mat, paper & pens/pencil for taking notes, iron and your favorite treats)
