A skill building project awaits those who participate in this class. Contrary Husband blocks are surrounded by nine patch blocks, and then framed with on point Churn Dash blocks. The original quilt was made as a personal challenge to make do with my stash. It includes numerous scraps, fat quarters and half yard cuts, whatever was on hand. Nine patches from a block exchange became the inner border. One of my favorite simple blocks, Churn Dash, form the outside border. Techniques included are half square triangles, quarter square triangles, quick corners, strip piecing, diagonal quilt setting , and much more!
