Description of Class

This is a 2 ½” strip class that is easy for a jelly roll plus 1 yard of material. Goes together very quickly and is bright and sweet. This quilt is also a great scrap buster. Perfect weekend project!

Fabric Requirements:
50 strips 2 ½” x Width of Fabric or a Jelly Roll plus 1 Yard
2/3 Yard for Binding
¼ yard for binding flange
3 ½ yards for backing

Cutting Instructions:
From 10 strips cut (144) 2 ½” x 2 ½”
From 40 Strips cut (120) 2 ½” x 12 ½”
From Flange cut (6) ¾” x Width of Fabric
If you want a larger quilt Cut 2 ½” squares from left over material.

Supplies needed:

BSK (Basic Sewing Kit: Sewing Machine in working order with owner’s manual, power cord & foot pedal, thread, extra sewing needle, straight pins, paper scissors, fabric scissors, seam ripper, rotary cutter with a fresh blade, a ruler that is sufficient for the class, cutting mat, paper & pens/pencil for taking notes, iron and your favorite treats)
