This is a striking black and white quilt but could be so fun in so many colors! Easy to make as each block is the same. Will teach chain stitching & squaring up blocks. Very modern and appeals to young and experienced quilters.

Fabric Requirements:
(36) 1/8 yard for Coins (Black & White in example)
For outsides of blocks (green or chosen color) (4) total of 7/8, 7/8, 2/3, 2/3 yards
1 yard for binding.
Cutting Instructions:
From the 36 cut 144 3” x 8 ½”
From the 2- 7/8 colors, cut (20) 2 ½” x 20 ½” & cut (20) 2 ½” x 12 ½”
From the 2- 2/3 colors, cut (16) 2 ½” x 20 ½” & (16) 2 ½” x 12 ½”
For Binding but (9) 2 1/2” Strips

Skip the borders book- Sold on Amazon and in some quilt stores.
BSK (Basic Sewing Kit: Sewing Machine in working order with power cord & foot pedal, thread, extra sewing needle, straight pins, paper scissors, fabric scissors, seam ripper, rotary cutter with a fresh blade, a ruler that is sufficient for the class, cutting mat, paper & pens/pencil for taking notes, iron and your favorite treats)
