
Description of Class
This award winning quilt was chosen as National Teacher’s Choice at the 2009 Utah Quilt Fest and is a “snap” to hand applique. Come and learn an easy, fast, and simple way to hand applique. You should be able to finish at least one block in a three-hour period.

Fabric Requirements:
3 yards of Kona Cotton-white or cream
1 jelly roll of “thirties” fabrics OR scraps for flowers
½ yard dark green for borders surrounding blocks
½ yard pink for inner border scraps of medium and light greens for leaves
1 skein dark green embroidery floss
Supplies needed:
Basic Sewing Kit (Machine in good working order, machine cord/pedal, straight pins, fabric scissors, paper scissors, needles, thread, notebook, pen/pencils, 18” ruler, rotary cutter, cutting mat, iron, and of course chocolate)
