
Description of Class
Don’t shy away from this project because it has curves. It may look difficult, but really It is quite easy. You will learn 2 techniques while making this quilt:
– How to applique a curve
– How to cut and stitch on a bias piece
Other fun ideas using these techniques will also be shown in class, to spark your creativity. You should be able to get several blocks finished in class

Pattern Fee: $4.00 or Book for $16.00 Paid to teacher in class.
Fabric Requirements:
Blocks – 1 Layer Cake
Background – 2 2/3 yards
Block Borders – 5/8 yard of 5 fabrics
Border – 1 1 /8 yards
Binding – 2/3 yard
Cutting Instructions: (strips are cut from selvage to selvage)
Blocks will be cut in class, using template
Background – Cut 18 – 5″ strips
Cut into segments: 140 – 5″
Block Borders –
From each fabric: Cut 1 – 5″ strip. Set aside to be cut in class.
From each fabric: Cut 5 – 2″ strips. Cut into segments: 14 – 12 1/2″.
From each fabric: Cut 4 – 1″ strips. Cut into segments: 28 – 4 3/4″, and 7 – 1″.
Border – Cut 8 – 4 1/2″ strips.
Pattern Fee: $4.00 or Book for $16.00
