
Description of Class:
There’s nothing better than a whole field of buttercups to make you smile. I chose to applique my field of buttercups into a formal garden using the needle turn method of applique. But any method would work so you get to choose. This appealing spiral bordered quilt would make anyone happy. You will be learning how to make yo-yo’s and 2 easier methods of appliqué preparation. Color A (White) 1 Yard
Color B (Yellow Swirl) 1 2/3yard
Color C (Yellow Dots) 1 Yard
Color D (Yellow Check) 1/3 yard
Color E (Green) ½ yard
Color F, G, H, J, K, L, M(Assorted Orange & Green) ¼ yard of each clolor
Cutting Instructions
Will be provided to students by teacher.
Supplies needed:
Basic Sewing Kit (Machine in good working order, machine cord/pedal, straight pins, fabric scissors, paper scissors, needles, thread, notebook, pen/pencils, 18” ruler, rotary cutter, cutting mat, iron, and of course chocolate)
Bring your clover yo-yo maker if you have one. Some will be available for purchase in class (optional).
